Dear All,

I wanted to Install a search engine to my web server
which is running on RedHat Linux 7.2. I downloaded the
htdig-3.1.6.tar.gz
The search engine was installed as root. After
Installing I ran rundig and it appeared to have
created the db files...but when I use browser for
search, I get:

------------------------------------------
ht://Dig error
htsearch detected an error. Please report this to the
webmaster of this site. The error message is:

Unable to read configuration file
------------------------------------------

The permission set for "htdig.conf" file is
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8474 Nov 19 14:19 htdig.conf

I am using virtual server configuration.

When I put http://172.27.135.138/cgi-bin/htsearch on
my browser I get the search engine screen. And if I
give any word for query I am able to get the result.

But If I try http://172.27.135.138/, I am able to get
the web page displayed on which I have a search
option. If I enter any query I get the error:
------------------------------------------
ht://Dig error
htsearch detected an error. Please report this to the
webmaster of this site. The error message is:

Unable to read configuration file
------------------------------------------

Can anyone help me in this regard.

Thanks and Regards
Sekar
