Thanks for the response.  

The reason I haven't upgraded is because we're running under AIX using
gcc 2.9.53.  Since I don't administer the AIX boxes its a little
difficult to get gcc upgraded, thus our old version.  When compiling I
get a nasty compiler error referring to something along the lines of gcc
not being able to find libobjc++.  Is this a known issue?  I've not been
able to find anything in the archives.  

Security wise this is an internal build only so risk is mitigated by
that fact.  I do appreciate the suggestion though.
