DB2 problem...: open : Cannot allocate memoryIt sounds like the server might be placing limits on how much memory a program invoked via CGI is allowed to allocate. Have you tried building and searching a very small database (e.g. one page)? If this works OK, then the problem is almost certainly due to server defined limits.

After that I find a htsearch.core file in my cgi-bin directory!?! Don't know
what that means. Anyway: When running from the command line, htsearch
doesn't complain at all. It just doesn't work, when beeing invoked as
CGI-script.
Database structure and handling has change significantly between 3.1 and 3.2. Do you really need features from 3.2? If not, you would probably be best off sticking with 3.1.6.By the way: htdig-3.1.6 works fine on both machines...
