I really hate it when I have to correct or supplement myself. Sorry. I wrote: > cd to the htdig source directory. > Move ssl.10 to that directory. Load it into an editor. > Remove everything up to and including the line containing "---cut---". > Remove the signature at the end of the file. > Remove occurances of the string "htdig-3.1.6_ssl_patched/" > (w/out the quotes). > Save the file. Exit the editor. > Execute "patch < ssl.10" (w/out the quotes). > Rebuild htdig (see htdoc/install.html).
Of course, the OpenSSL library needs to be installed.
