If I want search after words which are in the content of one html-site. Then I start the search I got no results.
And If I search for the words with the google search-engine I got results
for my websites.
Now I want to check where the problem is. What should I check at first?
There are a lot of reasons for page content not making it into the databases. You might want to start by checking http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q5.25 and the other FAQs that it mentions. You might also want to run htdig with an increasing number of '-v's in order to see what it is doing with the pages and terms that you expect to find after indexing.
