Hello to everybody:

We've installed htdig-3.1.6 in a Linux hosting server with apache and php 4.x . We have
only FTP Access to it.
We've compiled it statically in a Debian Woody Linux and uploaded de resulting
executables
to de Hosting server through FTP.
We've to modify de 'sort' executable route to match the server hosting. Well, it works
perfectly. We call rundig, htmerge, htfuzzy, etc.. through a PHP4 script with de 'exec'
function.
Our problem is with locales. Our project is a multilingual project. It includes
Spanish(es_Es), French (fr_FR) an English. We are using a separate conf file for each
one,
but the locale directive doesn't works.

We've successfully installed htdig-es-1.0 and htdig-fr-1.0.5.

The '/usr/share/locale' directory in the server shows all the necessary locale
directories
(es_Es, fr_FR, en_US) with the LC_CTYPE file.
The testlocale program shows all caracters correctly setting locale to es_Es and fr_FR.

But when we set de locale directive in de conf file, it launches the infamous 'unknown
locale' Warning.
Is there any trick to avoid this warning ?

When we search a word like 'Jos' or 'Prez', it returns no matches although they are
in
a web page.

I remember you that we don't have any access to the server except FTP and PHP.

Thank you in advance.

Agust Fita
