Hello,

I have installed htdig on a Mandrake 9.1 box using the RPMs that came
with the distro.

After running rundig, I find the following files in /var/lib/htdig:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 671744 Aug 11 15:05 db.docdb
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 327680 Aug 11 15:05 db.docs.index
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10911744 Aug 11 15:05 db.excerpts
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 37044224 Aug 11 15:05 db.words.db

This leads me to believe that the indexing process went okay. However,
I find nothing in my /var/www/cgi-bin directory. Is Mandrake's default
install totally fubar?

The htsearch binary is located in: /usr/bin/htsearch/ directory.

htdig.conf is in /etc/htdig/

header.html,footer.html,wrapper.html, nomatch.html,and syntax.html are
located in /usr/share/htdig/

htsearch is located in /usr/bin/

Given this information what would be a command-line that I could enter
into a shell to test htsearch?

Thanks
