I don't think that I explained this properly the first time. What seems to be happening is that for this section of the site, the Search is returning a match on each of the 26 pages, even though there is only an exact match on one page. It then displays the same excerpt for each of the 26 pages, ie the excerpt for the 'A' page. Despite this, the links all point to seperate pages, not all pointing to the 'A' page as you might expect.
So... It appears as though htdig is somehow treating this entire section as one page, which in many ways it is - dynamic page with the letter as a parameter. BUT it also knows that they are seperate pages, since it returns all 26 possibilities in the search results, and links to them correctly. PS Anyone got a Binary of 3.1.6 for WinNT? Please?
