I have a problem whith htdig 3.16 If i search for a word like "edv", htdig shows documents, which contains this word. It is correct. But also it shows documents (html), that contains not the search-string. I have no idea, where the problem is!
Are you using htfuzzy functions? endings, soundex will cause htdig to search for derivations of entered word as well.
Look for settings of search_algorithm parameter. If you set it to "exact:1" only, word derivations will not be taken on account in search.
And - just for test - you should put $(LOGICAL_WORDS) e.g. in your search_results_footer file to see for whole search expression.
