When I'm diggin our LAN htdig dies with an error:
New server: www.internet-treff.uni-koeln.de, 81 Unable to build connection with www.internet-treff.uni-koeln.de:81 error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)
I've build htdig-3.1.6 with the ssl.12 patch. The System is Red Hat 7.3.
The server mentioned in the error message seems to be down at the moment. The URL was listet in start_url as https://www.internet-treff.uni-koeln.de:81/.
What I found out until now is that the error is related somehow to ssl.
I deleted the server in question from the initial list and startet another run. And oops: It happened again. Now with another https server which was found while digging our webspace.
I went through the logs and found several https servers htdig visited without problems.
But htdig dies each time it encounters https servers that are down. There must be a bug in the way htdig handles the ssl error messages.
