Have you tried searching for other terms included on that page? Have you tried anything else to verify that the page is in fact being indexed? It sounds like htdig might for some reason be missing the page during regular indexing. There are a number of possible causes for such exclusion. Unless you are certain that the page is in fact being indexed and stored in the database, you might want to start by checking the following FAQ.
