Hello List, I have a question about htdig and restricted sites. I have htdig indexing a couple of sites now and plan to add search capabilities to another site. The new site is served by iPlanet v6 and is configured to allow access only to ldap authenticated users.
It seems like this will be a problem but hopefully there is a solution. Can I configure rundig to supply the correct username/password for the site or will the web server somehow have to be configured to allow rundig unrestricted access.
