Another Update: (sorry) Actually, it looks like it's also throwing a Server 500 error with certain other search terms as well, such as the word "Yellow" (it doesn't seem to like colours), whether it can match it on the command line or not (that is, some terms will create a positive result from the command line, but cause a Server 500 error from the web browser). My best guess is that it somehow relates to the fuzzy algorithms, but I'm not sure, because "Windows" matches okay, even though it is synonymizing with window and windowed. I've tried changing file attributes in case it's something like Apache not opening it... but it's not doing any good. Otherwise, htdig is running great... I've got it spidering a site with PDF, DOC and XLS files all OK.
Regards, Rupe. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rupert Jones Sent: 18 March 2004 16:39 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [htdig] WordDB: CDB___memp_cmpr_read: unable to compress page at pgno = 1 Update: The 500 Internal Server Error is only occurring (I think) when there is no result for the search; e.g: if you have no input, or enter something which won't be found (Such as "Chocolate Coated Zebra"). Otherwise, the system now appears to be working. (Clues as to why no matches is causing a server error?) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rupert Jones Sent: 18 March 2004 13:48 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [htdig] WordDB: CDB___memp_cmpr_read: unable to compress page at pgno = 1 I fixed the problem described below by adding Wordlist_compress: false Wordlist_compress_zlib: false To the config file. This stops the "uncompress" errors, which is great. However, I'm still getting "500 Internal Server Error" whenever I try to access htsearch from the web browser, with the Apache error log telling me it's just a premature end of script headers. Back to square one. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rupert Jones Sent: 18 March 2004 12:50 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [htdig] WordDB: CDB___memp_cmpr_read: unable to compress page at pgno = 1 <snip irrelevant> Rupert Jones Save9 Limited Website: http://www.save9.com Telephone: +44 (0)1723 355999 'A stitch in time saves nine' - innovative e-business solutions.
