Hi Jim, Thanks for the response....I was pretty sure I'd used the same version for digging and searching but after hunting around this morning I found that I had in fact used 3.2.0b5 for digging and was using 3.2.0b6 for searching :(
That said, I'm redigging right now..... I'm hoping this will solve my problem with a very large exclude list that was causing errors in 3.2.0b5 due to the conf_lexer.cxx parser - it died on every search. I sent a note to the list the other day regarding this issue but after not hearing anything decided to try the newer version to see if it corrected anything...... With 3.2.0b6, htsearch doesn't die but the incorrect URLs I've got (from mis-matched versions) are preventing the exclude values to have any affect I think - consequently I'm still getting duplicate results as my symlinks are not being excluded by htsearch. I will try searching again in the morning once the new build is complete. Hopefully it will all work well....if not, I'll likely write again in search of a solution.
