I have successfully, I thought, compiled and installed the latest beta of htdig(htdig-3.2.0b6) under Solaris 2.8.
I used the "./configure --disable-bigfile." option to configure and compiled with no errors. But any attempt to
execute any of the binaries results in an immediate Segmentation Fault with no other info. Any assistance
would be appreciated.

Does configuring without the --disable-bigfile make any difference? Have you tried running any of the programs with a few -v's to see if any debugging output is generated before the segfault? I am not aware of any
general problems with 3.2.0b6 on Solaris, but I am also not certain that
it has seen a lot of testing on that platform yet.
