I am having trouble displaying the result set excerpts for every result, the
excerpt is blank.
Here is my template (long.html):
<dl><dt><strong><a href="$&(URL)"

</dt><dd><p>$(EXCERPT)</dd>
<dd><em><a href="$&(URL)">$&(URL)</a></em><br>

Here is the relevant portion of my htdig.conf
no_excerpt_show_top: true
excerpt_length: 500
excerpt_show_top: no
