Hi,
I'm running htdig 3.2.0b6 on a dell server running debian, I'd previously been running
on Solaris (Ultra 60 :) with both 3.2.0b5 and 3.2.0b6 and seen the same problem.
Initial indexing takes place ok and searches work fine. After a few weeks of a nightly htdig
run
rundig -a
searches start returning no results. I've been keeping backups of previous digs/ merges to copy
over when this happens but it's not ideal.
So..
Anyone else seen this?
Since we've a Berkeley backend, is there anything I can run to test the databases?
I'm currently rerunning as I forgot to keep a backup of the duff data but once I reproduce are
there test I can run to try and work out what's happening?
Pointers for diagnosis please.
Cheers, Duncan
PS Ultra 60 -> Dell 2650 :: Indexing 9hrs -> 2.5 Hrs :-}
