I have been using doc2html for over 2.5 years on a daily basis. However, in the last few days it has stopped working. It fails standalone at the command line so it is not an htdig problem.
The individual parsers that doc2html invokes still work fine.
The error I get at the command line is:
$ doc2html.pl myfile.doc Can't open file myfile.doc
I am not a Perl expert nor am I the sysadmin on the machine this is running on. Any ideas?
{BTW: I sent a help request to my sysdamin and he
said that the Perl installation has not changed since 2001;
we are running 5.6.1 on solaris.}Thanks, Mark
