hi.. i was wondering whether anyone has any link-checking/validating scripts that work with htdig? i found some at http://www.htdig.org/files/contrib/scripts/ (the scripts 'showdead' and 'report_missing_pages.pl') but these seem to rely on htdig log formats that are outdated (?).. i tried them (with various levels of htdig output verbosity) but they both are relying on finding lines in the log that say, "Not found".. but i never get this string in my logs from my htdig (3.1.6) at any verbosity level..
is anyone having this problem? or able to use htdig for validating? or do people just use an external validator program these days and just scan everything twice?
thanks for any help.. jeff stern
