There is a "Features and Requirements" section, FAQ, overview, attribute index, etc.
As has been suggested previously, a user's guide is going to be closely tied to the manner in which you configure your installation, so you are not likely to find a lot of canned information.
If you are just looking for something that describes the types of searches that can be performed, you might take a look at the htsearch documentation for 3.2. In particular,
