Hi folks, Just an FYI. I was doing some testing today and noticed that the .conf file needs a new line at the end of the file. I noticed this when I added a comment to the end of the file but did not press enter at the end of the line.
Here's what comes out of htsearch: $ /usr/bin/htsearch -c /home/dlangille/htdig-blog.conf "method=and;format=short;sort=score;config=htdig;restrict =;exclude=;submit=;matchesperpage=100;words=stuff" Unknown char in line 196: #Content-type: text/html http://dev.example.z/~dlangille/blog/index.php?p=129 4 http://dev.example.z/~dlangille/blog/?p=129 4 Note the "Unknown char in line 196: #" Line 196 is the line with the comment on it. Workaround: add a newline. I'm using htdig-3.2.0-2.011302 cheers -- Dan Langille : http://www.langille.org/ BSDCan - The Technical BSD Conference - http://www.bsdcan.org/ ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
