Hello!
It depends on many factors.

1. what is the size of the website you are indexing?
2. what kind of connection does htdig have when it gets
documents from taht website?
3. what kind of extra computing does htdig need to do? (are
there lots of documents in PDF and word that htdig needs to
convert first)

For the sites i index every night it takes more or less 30,
to 40 minutes for rundig to complete.
