The error message you are seeing does indicate a problem with your  
url log file. If you do not have a url_log entry in your config file,  
then htdig would fall back to the default value. That should result  
in a file named db.log in your database directory. This assumes you  
have not changed database_base, as the default is actually $ 
{database_base}.log. You will need to remove this file in order to  
resolve the problem you are encountering.
