Hi again,

For those that haven't realized, I branched the CVS source tree before
releasing 3.1.0. So I can easily deal with these remaining bugs in 3.1.1
(or 3.1.2 if necessary) without worrying about people blazing ahead on
stuff for 3.2.

In other words, I'm thinking about the 3.2 release. :-)

In the next few days I'm going to start merging in some of the stuff I held
back from 3.1. In particular, tonight will probably see the debut of a
vector class and if that looks OK to people, I'll work up a heap/priority
queue class on top of it. My personal focus will initially be on the htlib
stuff, so any suggestions on classes you'd like to see, methods that you'd
like (or ones that you dislike and should disappear) should come to me.

Here are a few areas I'd like to see improved for 3.2 (a summary of the new
TODO):

* I18N/L10N: UTF-8 or Unicode support? Error messages translated into
languages...
* Database: As mentioned in the TODO. Probably optional phrase and/or field
indexes (since these would likely require more space).
* MIME: Allow mime-type detection (for local file indexing, external
filters). Maybe ship with a mime.types file and attribute?
* Protocols: Support HTTP/1.1, FTP...

Cheers,
-Geoff
