Yes, it *should* work (just as you don't need to specify gunzip -9), but I
think I'd just feel safer recommending a dump/reload on such a change--it
might take a while, but it will work.
(And it certainly takes less time to use htdump/htload than to rebuild
from scratch. ;-)
