I finally got a chance to look at the code. Whoops! (Can you say Geoff just
copied the htmerge usage message and made some changes? ;-)
I'll put a fix in for both 3.1.2 and the 3.2.0-dev code.
One note, you'll *never* see "placeholder[s] for an upcoming version."
IMHO, it's just not a good idea--too confusing.
