Having trouble with searches with a '-' in the string.
We use part numbers that look like: XXXXXX-ZZZ .
For example, searching on 081030-000 yields...
No matches were found for '081030000'
The '-' was removed, and of course, no match was found.
I tried changing the "valid_punctuation" tag with the '-'
excluded with no success. Now I get ...
No matches for (081030 or 000). Two words instead of one now.
Also tried "htfuzzy soundex" with no luck.
How can I get an exact match on XXXXXX-ZZZ, or at least
a match on XXXXXX ?
