Hi, A few people expressed interest in my description of the multidig scripts that help administrate multiple databases. I just wanted to say that I finished the new version and put it up on the website. I've clearly given it some testing, but not as much as I'd like. The big news for this version is it's very easy to define "collections" of databases--that is databases that are merged from other databases. The client I wrote these for has 50 state db plus DC, and wanted seven regional and one national db. Thus the regional db are collections of states and the national db is a collection of regions. :-) To get the new version, go to: http://www.htdig.org/files/contrib/scripts/multidig.tar.gz To see the REAMDE, go to: http://www.htdig.org/files/contrib/scripts/README.multidig Feedback is welcome! -Geoff Hutchison Williams Students Online http://wso.williams.edu/ ------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from the htdig mailing list, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the single word "unsubscribe" in the SUBJECT of the message.
