No, it's a common request but it hasn't been incorporated yet. (Perhaps
because during the 3.1 betas no one seemed to complain.) There's a *very*
old patch to 3.0.8b1 (or 2?) which can probably be reworked for the 3.1.x
series without too much trouble:
