[htdig] Pb with boolean expression

Hello,

When I make a search with these boolean expression
(exit AND school)
(exit AND school) OR price
there is an error. I have the syntax.html page and the message say that
Expected ')' at the end 

And ht://dig search (exit AND school
or
(exit AND school OR price

What is the problem ?
