Hi everybody!
I have the following problem. After executing the configure script, it
stops with the following message:

checking for gcc... gcc
checking whether the C++ compiler (gcc ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler
cannot create executables.

My OS is Suse Linux 6.0. If gcc is present, where�s the problem. What is
configure testing for? If there are any libraries missing, shouldn�t it
report that!
