[htdig] Problems installing htdig3.1.3 on solaris2.6

Hi,

I am trying to install htdig 3.1.3 on a solaris 2.x box, but I am getting problems
when I do
/configure

it says that


checking for ar... missing_ar
configure: error: No ar utility found.
configure: error: ./configure failed for db/dist

Then it stops.  Can anyone help?
