I have sucessfully configured, compiled and used HTdig3.2.0b1  on
Digital Unix


        OSF1 V4.0e
        but first I had to build :
        gcc 2.95.2    (  2.9-gnupro-98r2    from freeware  didnt work)
        zlib
        gmake

        then everyting went according to plan.
