[htdig] control of htmerge.

If I need to specify both an alternate conf file and a merge file, is the 
proper syntax:
    ../htmerge -c <alternate.conf> -m <merge.conf>

ie, is a - required before both of the option letters?

Also, is the whitespace, between the option letters and the filename, 
optional?
