On a related note, I have 3.20b2 running on several machines
here. [Two Solaris, and three FreeBSD.] I have them set to
reindex with a rundig -a -s once a week. The thing that's
odd is that when it finishes, it appears to move the .work
files into the place of the regular db files, except for the
db.words.db_weakcmpr file. When it's done, the directory
looks like:

>ls -al
total 19252
drwxr-xr-x 2 root other 512 Aug 6 07:33 ./
drwxr-xr-x 3 root other 512 Jun 29 14:15 ../
-rw-r--r-- 1 root other 688128 Aug 6 07:32 db.docdb
-rw-r--r-- 1 root other 245760 Aug 6 07:32 db.docs.index
-rw-r--r-- 1 root other 5644288 Aug 6 07:32 db.excerpts
-rw-r--r-- 1 root other 3697664 Aug 6 07:33 db.words.db
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root other 16384 Aug 6 07:33 db.words.db.work_weakcmpr
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root other 16384 Jul 24 08:36 db.words.db_weakcmpr

Note that each of the files is created at the time of the
reindex, but it just nevver seems to move the weakcmpr file
when it's done.

Aside from that, it works fine. I really like it a lot.
