htdig: html should become html

I have a web page that contains the string

        X-Icky-Mailer: <blink><bold>Hello Netscape User</bold></link>

The < and > are html escaped as one would expect.

X-Icky-Mailer</em>: &lt;blink&gt;&lt;bold&gt;Hello Netscape 
User&lt;/bold&gt;&lt;/link&gt;

Now, the return of the search engine presents these unescaped.

For an example, view
        http://www.flame.org/htdig/
and search for "sparc sunos solaris filesystem"

Any idea who can fix this?  <G>
