This topic seems to have popped up a few times in the last week or so.
Thanks to Gilles Detillieux who responded to me with a solution (at
least on Linux); remove the -ggdb options in Makefile.config.

After cleaning out _all_ the old database files and running rundig on
V3.1.0b1, I keep getting the following error from htmerge:
htmerge: Sorting...
htmerge: Removing doc #229
htmerge: Removing doc #410
htmerge: Removing doc #520
htmerge: Removing doc #526
htmerge: Removing doc #84
htmerge: Removing doc #97
htmerge: Merging...
htmerge: 11800:y353
htmerge: Total word count: 11852
Somewhere_deep_inside...: /web/webdocs/htdig/db/db.docdb: unexpected file format
htmerge: Total documents: 0
htmerge: Total doc db size (in K): 0
Where should I start looking?
Cheers
