The problems stem from the db directory not being set up properly. I'm not
so sure the configure script really worked since it didn't set up the
Makefile for db-2.4.14, hence:
gmake[1]: Entering directory `/apps/htdig/db-2.4.14/build.unix'
gmake[1]: *** No rule to make target `all'. Stop.
Everything else falls apart from here. The next version should actually
halt the make as soon as something fails to make this more obvious.
What did the output of configure look like?
