greetings.

i'm fairly new to using H-T, having come from a more php-based solution.

i'm trying to setup an environment where i can read one base skin/gui tmpl file
for the entire site and then include each page-specific template.

the tmpl_include function works but only as far as vertical layout blocks are
concerned (or am i missing something?).

ideally, i'd have a single template file with a layout:

|---------------------------|
| |
| |
|---------------------------|
| | |
| | |
| | |
| | XX |
| | |
| | |
| | |
| | |
|---------------------------|
| |
| |
|---------------------------|

where the "gui" is everything except the XX cell. of course, the XX cell is
the page-specifc "other" template to be parse as well.

i searched the mailing list archives as well as google and haven't found a
solution. any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.
