About 300 people attended the dinner. A Shriner spokeman said the event was not a Shriner sponsored fundraiser. GeT THe DeTaiLS Marching band's 'Beer song' no longer sung IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The Hawkeye Marching Band will no longer be singing the words to their "In Heaven There Is No Beer" polka song because of a parent complaint. The parent wrote that the lyrics send a message of excessive drinking: "In heaven, there is no beer. That's why we drink it here. And when we're gone from here, all our friends will be drinkin' all the beer." CLiCK BeeR Music-making abbot resigns from monastery ATHENS, Greece -- The abbot who produced the platinum-selling Greek monks has resigned from the monastery due to a dispute with the Holy Synod.
