What version are you looking at? I've been using GPL/Artistic for
HTML::Template for while now.
The initial decision was simply a case of my not wanting to see my Free
software used in non-Free applications. Of course, the fact is that the
GPL does a really lousy job preventing that for web software. Ultimately
I realized that the only people being potentially restrained were
independent contractors trying to re-sell solutions... I'm not a fan of
the Artistic license, but it's the standard and I decided to play ball.
