First, I apologize if this is an old question. I searched the archives
and found mostly nothing.

I have a few questions that are all based on wanting a good "smart editor".

I use vim, emacs, and xemacs and have today looked at many others that
are HTML only (CocffeeCup, BlueFish, etc.) one of which (Quanta, though
I'm not a KDE user) meets most of my needs (it has reasonably good syntax
highlighting and I can extend the tag set to support HT :)

The biggest problem is a tag-in-a-tag:

<option NAME="<TMPL_VAR NAME="VALUE">" <TMPL_VAR NAME="SELECTED">>

So, my questions are, in no particular order:

1. Does anyone have mode files or other tips, tricks or lisp to get
emacs/xemacs to behave well with HT?

2. Does anyone have syntax files or other tips or tricks to get
emacs/xemacs to behave well with HT?

3. Does anyone use quanta and know how/if you get it to accept
tag-in-a-tag?

TIA,
Wayne Walker
