Odi,
Quite frankly, I do not think we have resources to police the content of
this page. We can't and we won't. Let us not even pretend that we do.

Well, I could just do it. It's not too much work.

We put this page together at the very beginning of my time with project
when we felt HttpClient needed all promotion it could get. This is no
longer the case.

I know. That's why I am proposing a change.

Our needs have changed. The list has changed. I feel a need to act.

either completely remove this page

That is an option of course and I won't object if we vote for this option. But I also see the benefits of this list.

ah, now we're talking :-)

I am okay with these rules.

should not require people to qualify for the privilege in my opinion.

HttpClient is probably used in hundreds of (small) projects. If all of them wanted to get listed here we would have a serious problem. But okay, at least your two criteria weed out some of them. And I guess you hereby agree that the link I removed really doesn't qualify.

Of course we have the freedom to remove "offending" entries like open source e-mail harvesters, spam robots, viagra sites claiming to use HttpClient etc. :-)

PS: What keeps you up so late? ;-)

I just finished the fourth series of Six Feet Under on DVD :-) Have to check out if there is a fifth...

Cheers
