Francois,
The log suggests that the second request was successfully sent to the
server. The client is waiting for a response. I can not tell you why
your server does not respond. Please debug the server side.
Apart from that I noticed two things:
1. You are using JDK 1.4.1 which may be buggy. Please use an uptodate
JDK 1.4.2 if possible.
2. You are still using HttpClient 2. We have just released HttpClient 3
which fixes numerous bugs. Consider upgrading but note the slight API
changes.
