Hi Odi, > Overall it looks very good. I only find the red/cyan diagrams a bit > cumbersome. A UML interaction diagram would be clearer for me to read.
it was in 97/98 when I last had a look at UML. At the time, I considered it an attempt to specify a graphical syntax for expressing my thoughts. Mainly class hierarchies, at the time. I don't know the definitions for interaction diagrams. I consider UML as something for people that use a UML modeling tool to formally define models. But I'm the kind of guy that uses a command line environment, no modeling tools, and wants to have an informal model. You're probably right, formal diagrams would be helpful. But I'm not going to change my established development process and start to learn new tools to do it. My point of view since about a decade is that the best tools for modeling are pencil and paper to draw boxes and lines. Or optionally chalk/marker on a table/whiteboard :-) Maybe somebody else on this list wants to jump in and create some UML diagrams with the appropriate tools? cheers, Roland --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
