Thibaut, I don't recall seeing any documentation for migrating to 3.0. What I did was to swap in the new commons-httpclient jar in my IDE, then saw what didn't compile. The biggest change I had to deal with, as I recall, was a lot of the parameters were stored in their own unique storage classes. The whole process only took me a few hours, but I only had one class that used HttpClient.
