-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
I am working on a client-server-application using Java Webstart. Commands to the server are sent via HttpPost requests. When the first request is sent to the server the Java Console displays (language is German): network: Verbindung von socket://www.chromgruen.com:80 mit Proxy=DIRECT wird hergestellt But I don't want to establish a socket connection but a http connection. The problem is that within a given network environment, where there is no socks-proxy and no permission for making direct calls (i.e., without using one of several http-proxies) the application will not work. Where am I wrong? Thanks Andreas - -- chromgruen Planungs- und Beratungs- GmbH & Co.
