Hello,

I've been using httpclient 3.1 for the last few years. It's been doing the
job well for my needs, except for this issue, which, it seems, has been
affecting other users as well according to the searches I've done on the
subject.

I get intermittent Connection Reset or Read time out exceptions, on
SPECIFIC web sites.

By intermittent, I don't mean the occasional loss of connection that is
sure to happen once in a while.

I mean that for some web sites, and they are few, I will get regular
Connection reset or Read timed out exceptions. These exceptions will
happen on URLs for which many requests have previously been executed
successfully.

I've tried pretty much all solutions I found. They don't help.

I'm now wondering if it'd be worth it to upgrade to httpclient 4.

My question is this : is httpclient 4 known to fix these types of issues ?

Moving to httpclient 4 would require a lot of code changes, so I'd like to
know if it will address my current issues beforehand.

Also, if anyone is also using Axis2 and has moved to httpclient 4, I'd like
to know what's involved in that process ?

Thanks.
