Hello everyone, I've just downloaded all of the examples for review. Before compiling, Eclipse IDE shows error matching the resulting compilation error:
https://imgur.com/a/cQSjUeO As you can see in the screenshot, I've navigated to those classes for side by side comparison and I think everything checks out OK even though I'm getting errors for the example: http://hc.apache.org/httpcomponents-client-5.0.x/httpclient5/examples/ClientConfiguration.java I'm using AdoptOpenJDK 11.06 x64 on Windows 10 Enterprise. There are other errors with some of the examples also. I know there are some changes in the code since those examples were provided and I've corrected them. Does anyone think it's a problem with Eclipse? I've recently updated to version 2020 03. I've even gone as far removing eclipse, workspace, and the relevant folders in c:\Users\%username% with the same result. Thanks, Tommy
