The Apache HttpComponents project is pleased to announce 5.0.4 GA release of HttpComponents Core.
This is a maintenance release that corrects a number of defects discovered since release 5.0.3 including a major defect that can cause a connection pool resource leak. Please note this is likely to be the last release in the 5.0 release series. Users of HttpCore 5.0 are advised to upgrade to the latest HttpCore 5.1 release.
